Shnytsli (Ukrainian meat patty)
Ingredients
- 2.5 lb Beef (or pork, veal, or chicken)
- 1 Clove garlic
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Squirt Ketchup
- Parsley
- 1/2 Finely chopped onion
- 1 Slice Sandwich bread
- Milk
- Plain breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Soak bread in milk + water, squeeze excess
- Mix meat, garlic, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup,parsley, onion, and bread
- Add breadcrumbs until appropriate moistness
- Set electric frying pan to 350°F (turn it down if things burn). Add vegetable oil.
- Form meat into patty. Coat with breadcrumbs.
- Cook 6 minutes on each side
